Hello, I’m Christina ( ◕‿◕)
I'm a designer, sometimes developer, in my third year at OCAD University's undergraduate Digital Futures program, while working on cybersecurity software as a UX Design Intern at Cisco.
In the past, I've worked on web and mobile apps, enterprise and consumer facing products, and design systems, at early stage startups and large companies. I like design because it's both fun and complex – it never ends, and there is always more to explore.

I'm interested in building tools that amplify human ability, use cases for blockchain technology, the intersection of AI and creativity, payments and transactions at scale, innovation in the sustainable energy space, as well as social systems and communities that facilitate meaningful connections between people.

One of my favourite projects is this Snapchat filter inspired by Instagram stories, which has over 200,000 plays. You can try it out, if you like.

I'm curious about cognition, decision making, and personal productivity. I like books about psychology and behavioural economics like The Art of Thinking Clearly and Thinking Fast and Slow.

Currently, I'm reading Edward Tufte's The Visual Display of Quantitative Information. I recently took a data visualization class at school, where I made this poster.

I'm definitely a beginner to Unity, but here is an environment I put together that I like.
I've worked on a couple of projects as a frontend developer, like Course Notifier, a web app that has notified 2000+ students of open spots in courses, and a landing page for Block Hack Global.

I'm thinking about updating my portfolio, what do you think?

I've been to over 10 hackathons, sometimes as a hacker, mentor, or speaker. But the best hackathons were the ones before the pandemic, when we would get free food.

I like music and going to concerts.
What do you think of my drawing?
If you'd like to talk, feel free to message me on Twitter, LinkedIn, or  schedule something. Thank you for stopping by!
